How to Demo BookMySalon to a Salon Owner in 5 Minutes

A salon owner will give you five minutes between two clients. Here is the exact demo order that turns those five minutes into a signup.

Do not open with features. Open with the missed call the owner took while you were waiting — that is the whole pitch, and it already happened in front of you.

The five-minute structure

  1. Minute 1 — the problem: ask how bookings come in today and how often the phone goes unanswered during a service.
  2. Minute 2 — the booking link: open a live booking page on your phone and book an appointment as a customer.
  3. Minute 3 — the owner's side: show the appointment appearing on the salon's calendar with the customer's details.
  4. Minute 4 — reminders and QR: show the automatic WhatsApp reminder and the printable QR code for the counter.
  5. Minute 5 — pricing and next step: state the price plainly and offer to set it up for them right now.

The four objections you will hear

ObjectionWhat actually works
"My customers only call"Agree, then show that the link is for the ones who called and got no answer.
"I am not technical"Offer to complete the setup with them in ten minutes on the spot.
"Too expensive"Compare with the value of two recovered no-shows a month.
"I will think about it"Set the trial up now; decisions get easier when the product is already live.
You are not selling software. You are selling the bookings a salon is already losing every week.

After the demo

  • Send your referral link on WhatsApp the same day, with one line summarising the price.
  • Follow up exactly once after three days — twice, if they asked for time.
  • When they sign up, check in during week one. An active salon is a paying salon, and a paying salon is your recurring commission.
